Pinetop and Lakeside started out in the late 1800's as two separate communities which merged into one in the 1980's. This area is well-known for its recreational opportunities and its natural beauty. It is a family-friendly area with excellent access to outdoor activities appropriate for all ages, including those who are at the point in their lives when they wish to slow down and enjoy the scenery a bit more. It is located near Arizona's urban centers and has its own school district and city facilities.
