If you are an art lover, you will not want to miss the opportunity to join in on the First Saturday Art Walks in the Fountain Hills area. As you might have guessed, the art walks are held on the first Saturday of every month in Fountain Hills.

Fountain Hills has become well known for its number of art galleries as well as the wide variety of art styles and mediums that are offered in the immediate area. Certainly, the appreciation for art is certainly doing well in the local community.

The art walk is sponsored by the Fountain Hills Art League. Weather permitting, the event is held from 10am to 4pm. This is an excellent opportunity to shop for a lovely piece for your own home, a gift for a special occasion or simply to appreciate the wares of local artists. The event is held at the fountain plaza. Residents and visitors alike are welcome to come and browse the many different art works on display.

If you are unable to make the First Saturday Art Walk, you may also drop by the Artists Gallery to peruse the work of local artists as well. The gallery is located on the Avenue of the Fountains and is open every day of the week.

You will find a variety of different mediums presented, including jewelry, ceramics, glass, paintings, metal art and much more. More than three dozen local artists own and operate the gallery and will be happy to speak with you about their work.

The gallery also hosts a number of workshops and events throughout the year that you may also find interesting as well. Of course, if you simply want to admire watercolors you will also find many lovely examples on display at the next First Saturday Art Walk in Fountain Hills.
